Trains will leave out of Penn Station, approximately 1:15 to the trailhead. No other necessary transportation. Tickets are $13.50 each way.
Back into Tuxedo, this trip will head eastwards into territory not traveled yet. New navigation, and a good hike and overnight.
Going for distance. What was intended as a two day hike turned into a speed run, and the entire planned route was finished in just 7 hours of hiking. A lot of up and downs, some a grind of agony, but accomplished and fun.
